Fucking essays.

I've been trying to write all day, and now, right when I'm about to go to sleep, I get slapped with a hunk of inspiration and I have the urge to write. Grrr, not a fan of the writing process at the moment. Now that I got that out of my system it's bed time, and T-minus 8 hours 22 minutes 'till wakeup tomorrow.

Study Hall

You know at first I thought required study hours would be a bad idea, but now I realize what a great opportunity it gives me to bullshit even more than I did before. Not only that, but now I can schedule when I procrastinate and do it even more efficiently. The only problem is that the chairs in this building are very uncomfortable. Aside from that it’s alright, although the room decor looks like the Parthenon exploded in here: crappy roman motifs everywhere you look.
Two more hours to kill... My kingdom for a set of headphones.

New Profile Photo

Whoo! New profile pic! OK, not the most exciting thing, I know, it's been a rough morning, give me a break. Sporting my brand spanking new SU hat, and trying to convince myself that I can pull off a beard without looking like a total redneck. As you can probably tell, I'm not doing a very good job. Oh well, short post for now but I'm going to try and get some good links posted, and get this site up and running a little better. I put some adverts up to see if I could get any money out of this thing, they may or may not stay.

Memorable quote from this morning's practice.

"Ok you guys are goin' pretty good with square blades, but as soon as you add the feather you guys look like a bunch of monkeys trying to fuck a football." ~Coach

Its been a while.

Let's sum things up quickly shall we? Alot of things have changed since my last post about hiking mountains, most of all my point of view has changed. It hasn't exactly been elevated, more pushed to the left a little bit (and no thats not a hint at my political stance). Even though things are a little turbulant at the moment, I like where I'm headed, and if I could go back I might change a few key moments, but overall I can't complain.
Moving away from my somewhat vague remblings, I'll give you some specifics. I'm at Syracuse University, got here a little over a month ago. Lots of cool things have happened that are plenty blog worthy, so I'll try and post some of the highlights of my college experience so far. I'm still rowing, I was at the Head of the Genesee yesterday, our frosh boat came in 16 out of 30, but our varsity eight was second overall, so it was a good day for the team. I have to go write a paper about something now, I don't know what it's supposed to be about yet, just that it's due in about 3 hours.
